Audio Visual Services Details & Pricing

A wireless network supports the entire building. Additionally, each room offers data jacks for faster internet transmission speeds. Extensive audio visual capabilities now exist and a video signal can be sent to projectors and monitors in all rooms. All equipment is built-in and available for meetings and events, including drop-down projectors and eight-foot screens with multi-media connections, digital boards and stereo speakers. Independent volume controls are located in each room. A building-wide dimming system provides five lighting schemes, task lighting and automated window shades.

Technical Services Offerings

Faculty House Technical Services provides audio, visual, lighting expertise and equipment for events ranging from small conferences to occasions of grand-scale. Our equipment includes, but is not limited to, microphones, projectors, laptop computers and lighting.

Videography and Computer Network Assistance

Technical Services does not provide in-house videography or computer network assistance. For videography services, we are happy to obtain an estimate from a 3rd party vendor or work with any vendor your team provides. For computer network assistance, we can put you in contact with Columbia University IT.

Late Orders and Cancellations

Technical Services orders must be made within 5 business days of any event. Late orders are not guaranteed depending on equipment and personnel availability. Cancellations must be made within 1 business day of the event. Late cancellations will be subject to personnel charges and any rental equipment fees, if applicable.

Pricing
